These Easy Weeknight Lasagna Naan Pizzas are a quick and delicious twist on classic lasagna. With layers of ricotta cheese, marinara sauce, and melted mozzarella on naan bread, they're perfect for a busy weeknight dinner.
Ingredients:
- 4 pieces of naan bread
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1/2 cup cooked ground beef optional
- 1/2 cup cooked Italian sausage optional
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil leaves for garnish optional
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 400F 200C
Place the naan bread on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper
In a small bowl, mix together the ricotta cheese, oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper
Spread a generous layer of marinara sauce on each piece of naan bread
Spread the seasoned ricotta cheese evenly on top of the marinara sauce
If using, sprinkle the cooked ground beef and Italian sausage over the ricotta cheese
Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese and grated Parmesan cheese on top of the other ingredients
Bake the pizzas in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown
Remove the pizzas from the oven and let them cool slightly before slicing
Garnish with fresh basil leaves if desired
